SalesTaxRebate.com started inside a working Arkansas roofing company. It is still run by the people who built it.
Why this exists
It started as our own paperwork
T.F. Thompson Company Roofing has been buying material in Arkansas since 2011. Somewhere along the way we worked out the sales tax rebate process and started claiming what the company was owed — not as a service, just as something worth doing.
Then contractors started asking how we did it. Some tried it themselves and gave up. Some handed it to their office and found out that the one person keeping payables and payroll straight could not take on one more thing. The rebate was real money, and it kept going unclaimed for the same two reasons every time: it is tedious, and nobody has a spare person to put on it.
So in 2024 we started doing it for other contractors. Same process, run by the same people, for companies that buy material the same way we do.
T.F. Thompson Company Roofing is still a SalesTaxRebate.com client, on the same fee as everyone else. We are not selling a service we would not buy.

Founder
Tyler F. Thompson
Tyler owns T.F. Thompson Company Roofing in Centerton, Arkansas, in business since 2011. He is a 1998 graduate of Bentonville High School, a special operations veteran, and a 2005 graduate of John Brown University.
His career has been spent in real estate investment, development, and construction, with an emphasis on residential and commercial roofing — the last five years in commercial and industrial roofing specifically.
He is the contractor this was built for, which is why it works the way it does. Every decision about the process was made by somebody who had to live with it on his own jobs first.

Processing Department
Amanda heads up processing and is the expert in all things sales tax rebate. When the state kicks a claim back over a bad tax rate or a name mismatch, Amanda is the one who works out why and gets it refiled.
